Transportation Engineer

Gaby is a Professional Engineer, with a master’s degree in Transportation Infrastructure and Systems Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, both from Virginia Tech. She has interest and experience in corridor and intersection performance analysis, traffic impact analyses, and long-range planning projects. In addition to conducting operational analyses, Mrs. Cross has experience in performing roadway safety evaluations. This includes prioritizing project locations based on crash trends, selecting countermeasures for implementation, and evaluating expected crash reduction values. She has also developed maps and figures using GIS, project data, and other jurisdictional resources; aided with the development of future traffic volumes using travel demand models and historic volume data; assisted with the completion of various traffic impact analyses across multiple jurisdictions, and assisted with the preparation of technical reports and accompanying materials. She also has experience in public/stakeholder engagement.
