Position Available: Assistant Director, Environmental & Analytical Chemistry
Location: Gainesville, Virginia
The Assistant Director is responsible for management of a multidisciplinary team of regulatory scientists and registration specialists for placement and monitoring of product chemistry and environmental fate studies in compliance with US EPA FIFRA guidelines. Must be detail-oriented, with ability to work on projects with minimum supervision.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in regulatory affairs and compliance with US EPA pesticide registration requirements. This position requires the ability to develop protocols, prepare documentation of product chemistry and environmental fate reports for submission to EPA. Prior job experience in regulatory affairs within the agrochemical or biocidal industry or CRO with strong knowledge of FIFRA guidelines is highly desirable. Interpersonal communications skills are essential for interaction with clients as well as regulatory agency (EPA, FDA, CDPR) officials.
