Nonclinical Toxicology Consultant – Senior Scientist

Will is a seasoned veteran toxicologist with 40 years of experience in the nonclinical industry working in animal testing facilities in both the UK and Canada. Beginning work in a technical role followed by a move into report production at a CRO in the UK. Will then became a Study Director in acute toxicology working on chemical and agrochemical studies to UK and European regulations and soon moved to the general toxicology pharmaceutical group. In 2002, Will joined a Canadian CRO holding roles of Study Director, Senior Toxicologist, Director of Toxicology with responsibility for a group of Study Directors and finally Vice President of Toxicology Operations with responsibility for the toxicology operations, clinical pathology, necropsy and histology. Joined a Canadian consultancy as Director of Nonclinical Development for FDA and Health Canada related projects. The position involved review and oversight of nonclinical programs. Direct contact with Sponsors and review of CRO documents and the review of nonclinical modules of IND/NDA submissions. In 2023, Will joined toXcel International in the UK as a Nonclinical Toxicology Consultant – Senior scientist. Duties include study design and monitoring as well as GLP auditing and supporting the development of Nonclinical modules for regulatory submission.
