Ridgewood Apartments Complex – South Hill, Virginia

This project involves the layout of a site design for four proposed multi-story apartment buildings and their adjoining parking lots. Multiple layout options and building renderings have been developed for use during rezoning proceedings with the goal of proceeding to preliminary design in 2025. The layout was designed using Autodesk Civil 3D. 3D renderings of the apartments were developed in Sketch up using only a basic floor plan provided by the client. Textures and landscaping features were also added to provide a more realistic feel. Feasibility considerations, such as site topography, stormwater retention, and local codes were considered during conceptual design.

Berry Hills Country Club Pool

This project in Charleston, WV is a collaboration between toXcel and Lawson Engineering and Technical Services. The existing pool has been leaking for some time. toXcel assisted with the site survey, and an existing conditions map including  grids showing the approximate locations of existing structural members. This will be used for quantity takeoffs.
