Dave is a Professional Engineer with 17 years of engineering and project management experience in transportation engineering and planning in multiple areas, including traffic operations and safety, multimodal roadway and intersection design, traffic control device design and application, and multimodal transportation planning. His experience is in both the public and private sector, working for various agencies from consulting firms to local and federal government. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in Civil and Transportation Engineering from the University of Florida. Throughout his career, Mr. Kirschner has facilitated coordination between various stakeholders, whether as part of capital projects including multiple levels of jurisdiction and government agencies, or between governments and the public, with a focus on communicating the important points of transportation engineering and design to non-engineering audiences.
